PHOTOGRAPHY
My husband gave me my first dSLR as a wedding gift over fifteen years ago and for seven years, I operated my very own photography business. I loved vintage-washed, over-processed, hyper-bright images of families and couples. However, I was insecure creatively and so took on work that overwhelmed or frustrated me. I didn’t know how to flourish within boundaries suited to my gifts and interests.
With time and space between me and that last paid session, I’ve found the sweet spot for what I do.
I love photographing individuals, kids+families, and engagements.
I do not photograph weddings or events.
Creating images of families and lovebirds are my niche.

Kids + Families

I’ve found that families with small kids thrive with the low-pressure, 25-minute mini session approach, which helps kids (and dads!) stay cheerful for roughly half an hour. The 30-40 image gallery of images from a mini session beautifully portrays your family and captures not just gorgeous gallery-wall images for your home, but sweet shots that friends and family will enjoy, too.

Couples + Engagements

Moving slowly and creatively through a sweet (mushy?!) session for couples is exactly what we need to capture images of your love story! Once we select a location and a glowy time of day, we’ll swap ideas and start crafting a shared vision for your 50-minute session. I want even the most camera-shy couples to feel safe and comfortable during the shoot, so here is the deal: I promise to be moderately amusing and give clear instructions, and you promise to cheerfully cooperate and ALL WILL BE WELL. You’ll love browsing through your gallery of 50-60 lovey-dovey captures and sharing your favorites online!

Professional

A session for the professional or entrepreneur in need of updated headshots. You might be scheduling group images for your office, need a refreshed headshot for your LinkedIn profile or website. We’ve got creative freedom and I’d love to help create a vision for the images you need in this season of your career!
